Messi's new look

After several years of sporting a beard and mustache, Messi has decided to sport a clean-shaven face, as he has done for most of his career.

Inter Miami's post in which Messi is seen without a beard was quickly overrun with comments.

"Messi without a beard? I smell a hattrick already," wrote one fan.

"King Messi is back," someone else posted.

"The last time Messi shaved, he scored a free kick and decided the match," recalled another social media user.

"Messi looks like the Messi of 2015," added another.

"Messi without a beard, he will surely score a hatrick in the next match. Remember these words," wrote another.

Many fans believe that now that Messi has shaved his beard, he will once again peform like his best years in Barcelona.

Messi could make his MLS comeback against Toronto FC

After joining Argentina's national team for international action, Messi returned to MLS with muscle fatigue that prevented him from playing on Saturday against Atlanta United, a match that his team ended up losing 5-2.

His participation in Wednesday's match against Toronto FC is also in doubt, as Tata Martino said he will evaluate whether or not he will put the Argentine on the field, according to tycsports.com.

"We will see as the training sessions go on, there is no urgency," said the Inter Miami coach.
